As writers, we get excited about the characters in our plots and can’t wait to get them to the next action. Often we don’t know what to write in the space between major events and leave too much empty room. How does a writer fill that empty space between plot events?
Before I started painting, I’d sketch with any writing instrument such as pencils, highlighters, and ballpoint pens. I guess writing never seemed far away from any of my other art forms. 🙂

I have original acrylic painting ideas, or sometimes, I will add my own touches to something else. I paint on canvas or refurbish old things by painting and letting the creative muse run wild to see what happens. Media: acrylic paint, acrylic craft paint, tee-shirt paint on canvas, watercolors, and permanent markers.
