Ideas Come Before Goals

GOALS

This is something I forgot about but is something I’m starting up again. Years ago (I’m not saying how many), I used to walk/run 4 miles a day. I had note cards in my hand that held lists of my goals, which I’d read and repeat as I walked/jogged. They were the mantras of what I wanted in my life… my goals that I wanted to realize.

Today, while going back through the cards and then my journals, I was able to check off items that I had achieved throughout the years. 😊 To be able to revisit the goals and see them completed was the kick I needed to continue making and revisiting my current writing goals.4 elements surrounding journal page

Then I stumbled on this “Treasure Map” page encircled by the elements I sketched. I also found the very first written drafts of the first book in the series I had drafted in 2011.

Yeah, Time to get all of them finished.
